Genelia to act in Bollywood movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’
Glamorous Telugu actress Genelia has reportedly bagged the role of leading lady opposite Aamir Khan's nephew Imraan Khan in his debut movie 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. The film will be directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Jhamu Sugandh. Famous music director AR Rahman has been roped in to provide the music.







Pretty Genelia D'Souza -

Popular Telugu actress Genelia D'Souza was born on August 5, 1987, in England. She is also known to people close to her as Harini. Her parents originally hail from Goa and later moved to England. Genelia made her move from England to India in pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming an actress. She got her first break in the movie 'Boys' directed by Shankar. The film was a box-office hit and soon Genelia started getting more roles. Genelia has so far acted in over a dozen Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.

Genelia studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, a suburb in Mumbai. After school, she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. Mumbai-based Genelia starred in the big budgeted Boys by top director Shankar. She starred opposite fellow débutante Siddharth.

The super success of her Telugu movie 'Bommarillu’, has made Genelia red-hot property in the Telugu film industry. This will be Genelia's third Bollywood movie. She earlier acted in Tujhe Meri Kasam and Masti.

Shilpa Anand


Shilpa Anand - Born Shilpa Sivanand December 10, 1982, in South Africa. She started her career as a model and then appeared in several South Indian movies. She did many advertisements on Indian television including the famous Shanti Badaam Amla advertisement.She has also appeared in a Lux advertisement along with Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. She has also appeared in many Coca-Cola advertisements with Aamir Khan and she has also done a Pudin Hara advertisement along with Amitabh Bachchan.

She rose to fame throughout India after starring as the lead role of 'Dr.Riddhima Gupta' in Dill Mill Gayye on Star One which is a sequel to the television show Sanjeevani-A medical boon. In this show Shilpa plays the lead role. On June 2nd, she will have her last episode in Dill Mill Gaye as she has decided to leave the show for some other work. She also acted in a movie named Iqraar..By Chance,in which she played the lead role-'Rashmi'.This film didn't do very well at the box-office.She has also done a minor role in the film Sirf which released on 4th April 2008.

Kareena Kapoor was ranked fourth on Filmfare's "Top Actresses" list for three consecutive years (2003-2005) whilst she was later ranked sixth and third in 06 and 07 respectively. In addition to that, Kapoor was ranked third on Rediff's "Top Bollywood Female Stars" list in 2004. She was later ranked seventh and fifth in 2005-06 respectively, and came back to the third position in 2007. Kapoor has also frequently been featured in different lists by Rediff, including "Bollywood's Most Beautiful Actresses", "Bollywood's Hottest Heroines", "Bollywood's Best Dressed Women" and "Women of Many Faces".

Shriya Saran was born in Haridwar and most of her life in a small colony at the foothills of the Shivalik range. Her father, Pushpendra Saran worked for the state-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited while her mother, Neeraja Saran was a chemistry teacher at the Delhi Public School, which Saran had attended. Her elder brother, Abhiroop Saran is four years older than her and currently works with an advertising firm, FCB Ulka, in Mumbai. He is married to Aarti, who Saran describes her relationship with her "like a house on fire".

As a kid, Saran claims to have "pooled her pocket money that she was given over a period of time and give it to a blind school". When Shriya was 17, her family moved to Delhi because she was passionate to learn kathak from eminent guru, Shovana Narayan. In 2005, Saran was rumoured to be set to get married to her long term boyfriend, Rajiv Madhavan, which she later denied claiming the pair were "only close friends". However, in late December 2007, it became clear that Saran's relationship with her co-star Jesse Metcalfe has become more romantic. Neither of the pair have reported to the media about the link.
